The Education Act 1996 states that all children should attend school regularly and punctually. Whilst the act covers children that are of compulsory school age, we would encourage all families to read the information below. A child will become compulsory school age the term after their 5th birthday.

We will be monitoring attendance closely as a school and will be issuing letters to parents if their child's attendance is of a concern. Please also be made aware that if a child has regular periods of absence we will request medical evidence for all future absences as per our attendance policy which can be found below.
