Welcome to St Pancras Catholic Primary School. We are a one-form entry Catholic Primary serving children in the west side of Ipswich. We are proud to be part of the Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Academy Trust, along with five other primary schools and two secondary schools; St Alban’s High School in Ipswich and St Benedict's Catholic School in Bury St Edmunds. If you would like further information about the Trust vision and values, please go to the Trust website - www.olow.org.uk
Our school is very much aligned with the Trust’s mission statement of ‘Christ at the Centre, Children at the Heart.’ Family and community are very important for us and we pride ourselves on being a family-orientated school, where children feel safe, loved, valued and nurtured by the adults who care for them each day.
We aim to provide an environment where children want to be in school, where they enjoy learning and strive to be the best version of themselves that they can be. We want our children to have a thirst for skills and knowledge and, in the words of St Oscar Romero, we want our children to ‘aspire not to have more but to be more.’
We strive for excellence in education; encouraging our children, motivating them in their learning and instilling a desire to achieve, in the hope to give them a love of learning that will last a lifetime. We have a strong Catholic ethos driven by our Mission statement of love and kindness and we give all our children the opportunity to develop their own personal faith and relationship with Christ through daily Christian teaching and living by our school Christian values.
Please explore our website and get in contact with us if you would like to know more about our school.
